One of Huss's close associates in the 1980s was a woman named Betty Freauf. She was the Secretary of the OR GOP in 1983-4, chair of her county's GOP for a few years, and ran for office a couple times. In 2016 she published an article about how "Hitler was one of the good guys...like Jesus."
