To explain: When you come in from out of state to represent someone, you have to get a local counsel to sponsor you in "Pro Hac Vice." That's what Abbe Lowell et al are doing for Don Lemon.

The guy who is sponsoring them in is the lead prosecutor who quit bc Pam Bondi is so corrupt.
Look at who is PHVing Abbe Lowell and team into MN to represent Don Lemon.

Flagging: Trump directed top U.S. spy agencies to share sensitive intelligence about the 2020 election with Kurt Olsen, who we just learned helped launched the FBI raid on Fulton County.

Olsen is a 2020 election denier who tried to overturn the results of the election. tinyurl.com/3tyrd7xm
MS NOW: The FBI's criminal investigation into Fulton County's 2020 ballots originated from a referral sent by Kurt Olsen.

Olsen was one of the Trump lawyers who worked on the efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

The FBI's Affidavit used to obtain the warrant for Fulton County ballots "instead of relying on the official transcript ... repeated an erroneous claim made by MAGA conspiracists."

From this thread by Tom Joscelyn, an analyst who has followed these matters closely⤵️
1. The FBI affidavit used to seize ballots and other materials from the 2020 election in Fulton County relies on debunked conspiracy theories. For example, it isn’t true that Fulton first “reported” 511,343 ballots and then “reported” 527,925. I’ll explain.

Trump's vacillation between "I had no idea" and "everybody knows" is completely on brand. If it weren't for all the photos, video tape, etc. it would have been "I didn't know him." He's done that before with his mobbed up associates.
Trump, who says he had "no idea" at the time that Epstein sexually molested girls, told the police in 2006 that "everyone has known he’s been doing this.” That's according to an FBI interview with the then-Palm Beach police chief.
Here's a gift link to Julie K. Brown's article in the Miami Herald.

One thing I’ve stressed talking to reporters on Somalia strikes: it’s important to distinguish ISIS strikes from Shabaab strikes.

They’re very different groups and not only is there reason to think limited aims can be achieved vs IS but escalation may be motivated by opportunity vs. just threat.
Latest UN report has generally positive things to say about the effectiveness of CT operations against ISIS-Somalia.

Worth a read for folks following the larger U.S. escalation there.

One cognitive problem we have understanding Trump is how it differs from the precedents. One thing I'm obsessed about is that he started as hegemon, but is pissing that away, IN PART bc he does not control himself.

But this is another big distinction.

I'm at least as obsessed by David Sacks' role
