A few years ago I accidentally wrote this sort of spicy romance about an abominable snowman because, well, I misunderstood the instructions for an anthology… Anyway, it’s one of my most favorite things I’ve ever written, and I personally think this cover is just amazing

Fascinated by people at our local grocery store who performatively protest self-checkouts on the day before Thanksgiving. There are human checkouts right there but this guy went to self checkout, then stomped around to find someone to assist him, all so he could loudly complain about how awful it is

Zohran Mamdani polled +40% on men under 30. So we wasted all that time on all those think pieces about how we need a Joe Rogan for the left, when what we actually needed were *policies* for the left.

If you hark back to your childhood as being better, simpler times, you're harking back to a time when the same problems still existed they were just either hidden from you or taken care of for you by someone else.

i have about two million followers across three platforms. statistically, about 20,000 of you are in the top 1% in terms of wealth. if any of you feel like leaving me your home in a walkable neighborhood when you die, that would make for a very heartwarming social media story.

Me a month ago: "I wanna know what Graham Platner looks like with his shirt off."

Monkey's paw finger: *curls*
Ok, calling it now. Graham Platner hot
Graham Platner is blunt, even proud, about how he’s benefitted from government programs. He went to college on the GI Bill. His healthcare is free—paid for by four tours in Iraq & Afghanistan.

This Halligan story is just so… I don’t even know. You’d think we’d all get burnt out on watching the same amateur hour B.S. every week, and yet, somehow it can still be shocking in new and hilarious ways.

What’s really interesting about this at the moment is that the site I need to access is working. But the 2FA is tied to something on AWS, so that one thing is not working

Gotta love finding out exactly how many things we use in daily life are tied back to AWS. Fortunately for me, it’s just all the kids’ schoolwork that has ground to a halt for the day. Maybe they can appreciate this break and we can watch a movie or something.

Also, my brain was itchy this weekend so I started drafting a new novel again for the first time in almost 3 years. I’m pretty jazzed about it and trying not to pressure myself to turn it into some kind of forced commercial success. I just want to enjoy the process.
