The "Milwaukee protocol" got a lot of attention based on successful treatment of a girl with rabies in 2004.

Unfortunately, success hasn't seemed to have repeatable, despite numerous attempts.

Do we keep trying a protocol on the basis of "it can't hurt" or...

Except they are.

Traffic related fatalities have been on a downward trend for decades, and since 2011 they've gone down fastest for pedestrians and cyclists.
