It’s pawficial! While supporting Maisie through ruptured cranial cruciate ligament pre-op, surgery & recovery, her foster family fell in love with her. “We adore Maisie, as does her dog brother Gus & her 3 new cats! We're so lucky to have her join our family.” It was meant to be! 💞

Had eyes on our girl when we went up to fix some signs that had blown over or were under the snow and gave out more flyers. She is hypervigilant in survival mode. 💓💓💓

Seniors are really great! They usually love everything they get to do with you. And you don't have to worry about 2am zoomies. I have a rescue I adopted when he was 12, and Boomer is an absolute joy to be around. Wes is so cute!

Just after we rescued Lucy, we made a cross country move. We did well, but knowing the vet ER routes would have been a good thing to have on hand just in case! Next time!!
• ID on collar/harness
• Secure dog in backseat in hard travel carrier or via dog seat belt
• Securely shut crate door
• Use cable tie/carabiner to keep crate door from popping open
• Window up; child locks
• Attach leash b4 opening door
• Double leash at stops & rest areas
• Scout ER vets on route
• Secure dog in backseat in hard travel carrier or via dog seat belt

Update on our friend Rin who had surgery on her broken paw. 🐾 ❤️🩹
Thank you😊 The surgery went smoothly. After hearing the surgeon's explanation, I'm scheduled to be discharged on Tuesday or Thursday.
