Important question, I think: we all love our special small production/winemaker driven/super interesting favorite wine discoveries. And I think many of us, thanks to our professions in the business, get to drink things that would normally be out of reach financially for us (I know I do!)

it's important this go as viral as the original story for morale purposes if nothing else. despite the image they project these people are NOT unaccountable. consequences CAN be forced. focused anger and outrage MATTERS.

If you can hear Eye of the Tiger, Sabotage, the Rocky theme, London Calling, Renegades of Funk, or Paradise City and not feel like you should do more than you're already doing, probably lift or hit something... I don't know. Maybe you're irreparable.

Boxing workout music suggestions welcome!

I get an unreasonable amount of enjoyment out of the fact that the guys playing two of the most unapologetically violent dudes on TV - Jon Bernthal and Alan Ritchson - are also unapologetically woke
Uh oh! The Punisher is woke!

I don’t agree with everything Bernie says but this is undeniably the way forward and hopefully others within the party rally around this and even more explicit messaging around the threat of fascism and get into the fight as a bloc. It would be good to see walz and pritzger as well on This.

The Scream franchise is set in a universe just like ours, save that voice imitation technology was perfected in 2000.

I can't stop laughing at this man I'm sorry. This is the kind of shit the biggest loser in the world would say to their girlfriend about buying her flowers on Valentine's Day once, and he's doing so in an argument that started because he called her a bitch

If you haven't read #TheParableoftheSower by Octavia Butler, please do it. Should be required reading for this time, and the lessons it teaches are just mind alteringly good.

Maybe the wine industry needs its own Guy Fieri, who doesn't go to beautiful old cellars and tasting rooms, but hangs out in aging warehouses with his trusty wine thief Lucille sneaking tastes from barrels and talking about them. Bungholes, Barnyard and Brix?

These last couple months I've thought too much about what horrors the next four years may hold, while simultaneously studying like a mad bastard for the DipWSET--which has become, simultaneously, the most important and most comically irrelevant thing in my life. A little thread to figure it out. 1/

A question for #mastersofwine out there: Do you believe the work for the MW is worth it? Trying to decide next steps as the dipWSET careens ever closer to completion... just wondering if the results are worth the massive effort and expense, in your experience.

Quick reminder that no wine hits your table without the people who pick the grapes. But from wineries that prioritize their workers over sexy, tricked-out tasting rooms and gigantic marketing budgets.
Elvis sent us this video from the grapes in Kern County. Workers share: This is the grapes that we are picking right now. The box has to weigh 21 & 1/2 lbs. This box has 8 bags in it. Look at the nice packaging my coworker did. #WeFeedYou
