As awful and horrible as Trump is, it is enlightening to see just how powerful a president can be when they choose to use their power. Clinton, Obama, Biden, etc all enjoyed the same exact powers, and could have used them for good, but almost never did

misinformation is a very real issue, the problem was it was folded into a power-flattering pseudo epistemology where only grimy foreigners and YouTubers were capable of doing it when some of the biggest promoters of misinformation are the NYT and Atlantic. This bred cynicism and indifference.
Still wild to me that so many "savvy" folks on left and right have bought into the idea that online misinformation is overblown and doesn't really matter. From lies about migrants to transgender people to crime to election denial to climate denial, it's literally driving our country's politics.

And a union is precisely the correct way to defend against incoming fascist regimes. If we can stop talking about how we didn't mobilize long enough to organize, we will start to see the change we ALL seek.

I really believe this would be catalytic. My studies have lead me to believe that women are the key to liberation or resistance movements. One key strategy, I think, is extraction. A lot of women will suffer immediate abuse and/or need shelter. Could we potentially get a relocation org going?
This by the way is why I'm not going to moralize over a 4B-esque movement. Countless of conservative men lying to trap straight women in relationships with them.
