This just isn't true, it's the other way around. When Republican representatives don't do what they want they get death threats from their voters, and so they vote the way they want their increasingly reactionary base wants. Democrats do not do this, because they're cucked.
Republicans are very good at telling their voters what to believe. Dems say “what do our voters think?”, as consultants, and then get it wrong.

From all the ridiculousness I've read today, one thing is clear: Liberals will keep losing elections to fascists, and they'll refuse to understand why. They can't accept that the Dems created the conditions that led to Trump. You don't end up with a fascist as president when things are going well.

You can actually criticize Maoist China and Stalinist USSR without claiming dead Nazis are poor innocent victims of Communists, like this; the ethnic cleansings, agricultural mismanagement, and gulags and executions stand on their own and I promise you the US was and is worse in all of those regards
