It occurs to me all the yelling at ICE in MPLS isn't merely funny. Getting made fun of like this is awful for morale. ICE is losing field officers faster than it can wave them through training, and a big part of it is how little of this these little weasels can take.

Yeah these women are doing a disservice to themselves by making it about the sex. They’re missing the beauty of the story. The books were written as an angry reaction to homophobic hockey culture and fandom.

Heated Rivalry has an incredible love story about two men coming into adulthood and falling in love but having to be hidden. Not only because of homophobic sports culture but also government persecution.

I hate to say it but I also see why women are gatekeepy about this. Romance is always ridiculed as being “for women”. Things women enjoy are always looked down upon and frivolous. So I think women who enjoy it should be welcoming to show people our interests are actually… interesting.
