1. Trump threatened every hospital that provides gender affirming care to transgender youth.

Many complied and shut down their programs.

Boston Children's Hospital didn't. They fought back and kept providing care.

And now, they just beat Trump in court.

1. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk's shooting, the WSJ laundered claims that "transgender symbols" were found with the shooter's gun.

Now, a press conference reveals that NO such symbols were found.

It never left. That’s why some of us are still advocating for mitigations.

I’m really only just getting into it but I genuinely love birding as a hobby. The entire goal is to look at the bird. Is there a bird? There is a bird! Look at the bird! If you are very keen you can learn what to call the bird so that you can properly thank it for the joy you feel when you see it. 🪶

This is where collective action is needed if we all include diversity and its relevance to are research in grants& biosketches will they defend all of us?
Complying in advance is harmful. Some people can delete diversity from biosketches and grants I can't delete that I'm a black woman scientist.
Today I was told to take out a line about being a mentor to students from diverse backgrounds and historically underrepresented groups from my biosketch for a proposal, because it might damage our chances of getting federal funding.

How has it come to this? I feel absolutely sick.
