Forced to retire (disability), I'm a former farmer, carpentry contractor, teacher, and software QA guy. I want what's best for everyone, from a humanitarian perspective.
The American electorate is fickle. During the 2010's, everyone bitched re: the quality of of our roads. Then Biden and the Dems passed a massive infrastructure plan, which created great jobs and pumped investment into the economy. Now everyone bitches about the inconvenience and expense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I honestly don’t know what to say anymore. It is overwhelmingly clear at this point that the Republican Party has sold its soul to protect a child rapist, led by wealthy ghouls who will never have enough.

There is only one war, now and forever, and it is the class war. There must be consequences.

They are not wrong. Please join Indivisible and help to reclaim the Left.
After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

I've been a Democrat my entire life, but this caving by Senate Dems makes me believe that we need a third party, one free to truly represent its constituents.

I washed my shower curtain the other day, and as I was re-hanging it, I was reminded again that I can't look at a shower curtain ring without thinking of the great John Candy and smiling.

True, so long as it's a very young, very misinformed child, one who's only a few years away from beginning to experiment with torturing cats.
The president has a child's understanding of the federal budget

Trump filed lawsuits over jokes, tweets, and news articles, but not once over any of the countless allegations of child rape. I feel like more people should mention that.

That place is big. Coulda been used as a ballroom.
Inside the Hermitage, the winter palace where Tsar Nicholas II and his family lived before they were executed—in a country where Russians were starving.

None of that stuff was sprayed with tacky gold paint, so it wasn't worth keeping.
Did anyone spot moving vans outside the White House recently that could have been used to remove precious, historic furniture, mantel pieces, fixtures, chandeliers, lamps, and portraits from the East Wing to safety?

I for one think the Epstein Ballroom will be magnificent. I love the decor theme of “what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn.” And giving it a theme song everyone will associate with it is a stroke of brilliance! “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” is very catchy.

If "Christians" like Mike Johnson are going to fill heaven, send me to hell with all the people not like Mike Johnson. It'll be a far better group with which to spend eternity.
I am completely awestruck by the ease with which Mike Johnson lies on a daily basis. I'll never understand how such a transparently fraudulent "man of faith" can live with themselves. Life is too short to be that phony.

The No Kings rally drew around 1k people in deeply red Alexandria, MN (pop 15k). Lots of US flags while, on the street, an older pickup with a large Trump flag trolled past numerous times, illustrating the stark difference: One side loves this nation and her people. The other side loves Trump.

Here's a true-blue Canadian with maple syrup running through his veins who understands the No Kings movement.
PROTESTORS: We don't want an autocratic, all-powerful ruler, we want our leaders to work within the constitution, obey the rule of law, and realize they are employed to serve the people.

Remember the first few months of this year, when all we talked about was DOGE and spending cuts and waste, and this administration gutted USAID?

And now they’re giving $40 billion (!) to Argentina.

Insane the amount of amnesia in this country and in our politics and media.
