Forced to retire (disability), I'm a former farmer, carpentry contractor, teacher, and software QA guy. I want what's best for everyone, from a humanitarian perspective.
The No Kings rally drew around 1k people in deeply red Alexandria, MN (pop 15k). Lots of US flags while, on the street, an older pickup with a large Trump flag trolled past numerous times, illustrating the stark difference: One side loves this nation and her people. The other side loves Trump.

This is what happen when a country abandons facts and logic, instead making decisions and policy based on beliefs and feelings.

Suggestion: I suspect that proximal stigma doesn't lower desire for transition, rather lowers willingness to express desire for transition.

I've listened to everything you have to say, which has left me more and more confused. It was nice talking to you, but now I've got better things to do. I think I'll go wax my driveway.

Here's the attribution. I don't know if Wren on Xitter originated the name, but this is the first place I saw it (via Huffington Post).

The same people laughing, saying, "Haha. Look at Trump owning the libs," would have been apoplectic had Biden or, worse yet, Obama done the same. If Trump does it, it's brilliant humor. If a Democrat does it, it's sacrilege. It's not a cult, though!

Way, way worse than a treasonous attack on democracy. Probably 10 times worse 🫤

Honestly, there are only two things wrong with Trump's argument: His premise, and his conclusion.

Apparently, Schumer figured out that the easiest way to never stop fighting was to never start fighting.

My "complaint." Too much? I'm worried they'll see it as legit, being the humorless, irony challenged, racist misogynists that they are.

The light protecting the life of Democracy is currently down to one candle, and Bezos is doing his best to blow it out.

Awww, how sweet! Musk brought his PR photo op kid that he probably hasn't seen in 4 months into the office, so we could see what a great dad and fine "human" he is 🥰

The Trump entourage in NOLA during the national anthem. Trump, against flag code, salutes rather than place his hand over his heart as code requires*. Ivanka, Eric, and Lara can't be bothered to do either. Perhaps if it had been the Russian flag?

*At least he didn't rush the field and hump it...

Cosplay Barbie at Gitmo. Gaunt and feeble, Kristi Noem looks extremely unwell. Apparently, living a toxic, hate filled life becomes a sort of self-fulfilling - and self-consuming - prophecy. 5 stars, zero sympathy.

Please delete Google Maps from your devices as a way of telling Google that their acquiescence to Trump is unacceptable. The screenshots below are of the feedback message I sent them telling them why I was deleting the app.

In a treatment chair in the infusion center, and when lunch came, I decided it was time to start painting outside the lines. Rebel, rebel!

Tariffs 'could' lead to higher prices? Way to soft-pedal, NYT. That'll show Trump you mean business in mumbling frail truth to power!

I get a strong sense of unease when watching Deportation Barbie. Beyond the cruelty and ignorance, I have the unsettling feeling I'm about to watch one of her over-filled lips burst like a balloon.

Someone just posted this with comments and reposts disabled. Tragically, I believe we're entering an era where we'll have no choice but to be satisfied with 2 out of 3.
