2/2 I believe that ranked choice would lead to the election of representatives that most closely reflect the will of their constituents, rather than those of the party faithful and the extremists on either end. Any voting system relies on education and thinking to achieve good results.

I fully agree, but it opens up choice. Too often, a candidate that's not "major party," but whose proposals a voter might like either doesn't receive the vote out of "wasted vote" concerns, or does receive the vote and it results in their least favorite candidate winning because of vote split. 1/2

We should also have ranked choice voting, to allay concerns about "wasting" one's vote on the candidate of choice.
