Always choose bear the cat. Trying to be a better person but often failing miserably. Sustainable fashion, art, books, probably more politics than is healthy, rice pudding.

If only 16.6% of its own people gave a shit why should anybody else. Labour really is dead in the water isn't it?
Labour Deputy Leadership Election Result:

The second richest man on earth is about to acquire TikTok and his family could soon own both Paramount and Warner Bros.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

Not quite sure why the media is presenting the Caerphilly result as a disaster for Labour, rather than as a perfect execution of its electoral strategy.

That strategy for *months* now has been to tell everybody who might otherwise be inclined to vote for them to fuck off.

And off they have fucked.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

If you get fined £150 for pouring half a cup of coffee into the Thames, how much do you get fined for dumping two million tons of sh*t?

The answer of course is you have to pay Thames Water another £3bn a year.

An interesting read.

Green party broadcasting presence increased by 44%. All other parties decreased

41% of green party mentions are solution focused. 22% Tories and 19% reform

Hope is indeed becoming normal again.

Keep it up @zackpolanski.bsky.social

Apart from the obvious pot calling the kettle black

We have a serious dentistry problem in the UK that symbolises the very wealth inequality @zackpolanski.bsky.social talks about.

Huge numbers of people can't get NHS dentistry or afford to go private.

This is a really nasty form of classism.
I've got lots of things to say about Jeremy Clarkson.

Really not worth it. He knows his game is over and so is resorting to personal attacks.

Piss him off instead and

On wealth tax.

If you have an obscene amount of wealth at the expense of every day people, and will threaten to leave the country because you're asked to pay a little more that will make no difference to your quality of life, knowing how much others are suffering, you are unpatriotic. See ya

I always believed that in the UK, politics is fought and won in the centre, because in the centre (which is a movable position) you can simply scoop up more voters from both sides than you can on the right or left.

But we are living in an interesting time where the centre is hemorrhaging support...

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Astonishing advance by the Greens, astonishing implosion of Labour. When will Starmer's government get the message that it is destroying its base with deeply unpopular, rightwing policies?

By chasing Reform, it legitimises the far right while delegitimising itself.
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Join us and let's make hope normal again.
