Pretty sure hundreds of people just here on Bluesky warned that the rush to mass-hire unvetted ICE agents was going to result in things like this.

And if it means the police and ICE become enemies, that would be awesome.

Man in GA tased 15 times in 15 minutes, for walking while black, died on the side of the road. He was stopped for trespassing because he wanted some water to fill up his coke bottle. I hope these deputies go to prison for a very long time.

E. Files were just a sideshow. They wanted the government shut down to cause chaos and destroy trust in institutions.

Plus the side benefit of hurting govt employees, ie unofficial layoffs.

we should have art and it should be broadly accessible
in terms of well being and happiness imo). In the face of the most overt brutality it's easy to be like 'hard to get mad about access to art when people are being starved and bombed' which has a point but these things all come from the same basic social logic of indifferences to human flourishing.

I'm asking for max RT if you see it 🙏

I'm sure that there are some fellas who have it in their drawers and no longer use it!

I'm not audacious enough to open a fundraiser for this because I understand that it's not life-saving, but still important for the guys🤗

“Today we stand in a moment that will decide whether our government belongs to the American people, or to those who prey on them.”

#MegynKelly, I was 15 when a 50 year old pedophile former cop physically backed me into a corner.

He literally asked me if I was afraid of him. I said yes.

Proceeded to molest me. Oh, & was also raping my friend at the time.

He got away with everything, because the system allows it.

Fuck you.
John Oliver reacts to Megyn Kelly seemingly downplaying Epstein's sex crimes by arguing that “there’s a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old.”:

“Look, I am clearly no stranger to sharing upsetting numbers with my audience, but please do kill me if I ever start doing pedophile math”

Johnson comes out against Trump's support for releasing the Epstein files. What a RINO!
Mike Johnson expresses concern that requiring the Epstein files to come out "could ruin the reputations of completely innocent people, such as those who may just have known Epstein but knew nothing of his crimes or whose names he exploited and used to try to get close to his intended victims."

2028 watch: The most effective ad for Prop 50 came not from Gavin Newsom. It came from AOC.
-Super PAC Future Forward found that Ocasio-Cortez's direct-to-camera ad did better than ads featuring Newsom — Prop 50's chief cheerleader — and Barack Obama.

Scoop: AOC's ad outscores Newsom's in California redistricting campaign
The report is a sign the progressive star could be a formidable opponent against Newsom — even in his home state — in a presidential primary.
