Can confirm - elsewhere in the country, the struggle to put numbers in the streets mean that cops have an easier time containing the bloc, and choose that over containing the fash.
The reason the fash have been so uniquely unable to achieve anything in Bristol since the Mercure last year is that the cops *have* to keep them in tightly controlled little pens and kettles *for their own safety*. This *in and of itself* keeps the residents of the hotels safer.

I want to talk honestly about the experience of doing antifascist work and defending these hotels because I've been told I can be "macho" about it on here, and that's a coping mechanism. I'm tired, scared, and in pain. I have permanent injuries and scars. I've cried like half a dozen times today. 1/
This is why, no matter what the cops do to us, none of us will ever stop.
