#OnThisDay 1947: Communist Party 'Daily Worker' editorial on antisemitism in Britain. A tale of open plotting and incitement, government complacency, and police inactivity. All rather familiar other than the fact that you tend not to find this kind of moral clarity on the British left these days.

Harrison Pitt accuses the King of treachery. Pitt is a Senior Policy Fellow for Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain, who also regularly co-hosts podcasts with his ally Tomlinson (who advocates banning all ethnic and faith minorities from public office). Two old women are at a restaurant. One says: "Boy, the food here is really terrible." And the other replies: "Yeah, I know, and such small portions." Well, that's essentially how I feel about England Ashes tours - full of misery, suffering, and unhappiness, and all over much too quickly.

One of my favourite examples of what I shall call nominative indeterminism. The leading British pro-Zionist archaeologist in mandatory Palestine and Israel was called, I kid you not, P.L.O. Guy.
