I'm trying to imagine how explosively angry I would be if this happened to my wife or someone else I cared about.

Look, I know we're all sick of hearing "if this had happened with any other president ..." but it's absolutely true and absolutely can't be forgotten.

For some reason, this nation gives this idiotic spoiled brat a free pass from things that would destroy the administration of any other person.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

One of the central mysteries of modern urbanism is that a ton of Americans go study aboard in Europe, or whatever, then come back and talk about how much better life there is as they move to the suburbs.

What made "life so much better there" was that you weren't chained to driving everywhere!

The amount of money that's at stake here is a rounding error to the federal government, but it going to make tens of thousands of extremely poor people's lives worse for no reason.

Well, for one reason I guess: To punish liberals and cities.
The Trump admin is about to cut housing grants for the formerly homeless.

HUD plans to cut aid for permanent housing by 66%, slashing over $2 billion and leaving 170,000 people at risk of homelessness again.

Everyone who would be affected is disabled, and many are 50 or older.

Sure Tucker Carlson is a Nazi, but on the other hand he says very nice things about me.
Q: Tucker had a friendly interview w/ antisemite Nick Fuentes. What role do you think Carlson should play in the GOP?

TRUMP: I've found him to be good. He's said good things about me. Will you let me finish my statement? You're the worst. You're with Bloomberg, right? I don't know why they have you

The message from Trump is crystal clear - if you beat the hell of out police, if you threaten to kill FBI officers - I will make sure you get away with it if you are breaking the law to keep me in power.

If you don't see it, this is a message about 2028.

Murphy: "It's clearly the biggest scandal in presidential history. He wouldn't be acting this way if he wasn't so deeply worried about what's in those files. What we've already seen is immensely incriminating. Clearly Trump was at the center of a child sex ring ... the scandal could bring him down."

Also most voters have just never thought remotely seriously about policy. “Should we get rid of illegal immigrants? Well, of course; they’re illegal!” There’s nothing deeper than that going on until they start seeing what that actually entails.
Some Dems and pundits overread the significance of Trump's win. They looked at dissatisfaction with the border and discerned a seismic cultural reaction to immigration levels inside the country. The former was real. The latter is a mirage.

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."

"Powerful people need to go to jail" is a radical position in 2025 America. Our elites think they're untouchable, and they aren't going to start behaving until they are disabused of that notion.
people gotta lose their positions of power and influence

people gotta be shunned from their prestigious social circles

above all, people gotta go to jail

The NYT had info tying Trump to Epstein and underage girls in the run up to 2016, but buried it in favor of a 57th "but her emails" story. They completely killed an *obviously* newsworthy story.

Claiming a "conspiracy" makes you sound crazy, but this is a bonafide conspiracy.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills: the emails from Landon Thomas has his New York Times signature block...he was employed by NY Times at the time. He was communicating directly with Epstein about Trump, and was given incriminating information about Trump. It's been in NYT's possession since 2015
