I live car-lite in Seattle and its great. Moving across the lake would cost MORE, and it would mean I'd drive a lot more too!

But in many places it doesn't, but people live in the suburbs anyway. You can live car lite/free in Philly or Chicago yet people there move to the suburbs too. And the suburbs are usually even more expensive!

And life can be like that here too! It is in some places! Yet people insist on living in an isolated suburban fortress and only experiencing the world through their car. They feel isolated and don't know why.

We got orders from the boss to start drumming up the case for war, I guess?

The thing with Texas is that, by a lot of demographics, it SHOULD be winnable. There are multiple large cities! There are lots of minorities!

Rural Texas election returns though... yeesh.
