A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.

If I were the pope’s doctor, I would never describe a recovery as a miracle. “Pure, godless science came through again,” I’d say.
The pope’s doctors did not think he was going to make it.

In an interview, the leader of Pope Francis’s medical team called it “a miracle” that the 88-year-old pontiff left the hospital, but said he needs to change his vigorous habits, at least for a while, to recover.

I am not a lawyer so I don't know if in the technical specifics this is what section 230 repeal would do, but on the broader question of if platforms should have their liability exposure massively expanded for any kind of algorithmic recommendation the answer is absolutely yes.

I'm glad that America is doing real classic end of empire stuff. A king who is visibly losing his mind declaring a war based on a dream he had. Greedy courtiers feuding over access to the treasury. Some looks are timeless.
