As the sun sets on western 'democracy', the realisation that socialism is, in fact, not as bad as we've been told.

Rage against capitalism.

Y’know, believing there’s a kind of racism that isn’t hurtful or insulting is itself quite revealing.

I'd also add that the US are lucky to even have any military at all, given how this cunt talks to/about them.

See how non-western countries can do it!
The energy transition happens often in unlikely places at unprecedented rates.

Take Nepal: Over the past year, electric vehicles accounted for 76 percent of all passenger vehicles and half of the light commercial vehicles sold in Nepal.

Five years ago, that number was essentially zero.

🔥 Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study quantifies it:

A 6–8% hit to GDP

That's £180bn-£240bn a year

It means less tax revenue and so less money for everything.

Brexit made Britain MUCH poorer.
New: Boris Johnson’s ‘Brexit Titanic success’ was half right
Nearly ten years on, the first full assessment of Brexit confirms what millions warned: Britain made itself poorer

Two children have been killed every day in Gaza since the so-called ceasefire began.

Why has this disappeared from the headlines?

The genocide never ended — and our government is still complicit.

End all arms sales to Israel, now.

If Turkey changed its name why does it keep being called Turkey by news agencies instead of Türkiye

Even the AP often does it

Despite being a pretty decent cook and baker, I cannot meal plan at all.

I hate every bit of it.

I don’t want to be locked into making things on specific days. I’m lucky if I have a vague idea of what I’m cooking each week.

I don’t know how people do that for a whole month.

Er... why are there now 491,000 claims in the employment tribunal backlog? How long did it take to build that lot up?

For many reasons, not least their clear bias on the Israeli genocide, I am no fan of the BBC.

However, they do not owe anyone an apology for the editing of Trump's incitement to riot on January 7 of this year.

It was two pieces of the same speech and as such were in fact connected.

It also proves that they don't test their features before releasing them. Which is "non-optimal" 🤣🤣🤣
Holy shit. So Elon decides it would be nice to know what region of the world people are posting from. So they add that little feature.
2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.

The difference is that Chamberlain understood the threat of Hitler, knew Britain was dangerously vulnerable and sought to delay Hitler to buy time to build planes for the RAF and generally re-arm.

Only if Chamberlain could described as a Hitler asset can he be compared with Putin asset Trump.
With his ultimatum that Ukraine surrender to Russia, Trump finally wins a prize:

The Neville Chamberlain award for betraying peace, freedom, and justice.
