Still want to do this if anyone is looking for a little walkin' around money this honda day season
Looking to publish a story correlating automaker investments in new technology and earnings/share price. For example-- X automaker made public investments in Y technology, it had this impact on shares and this impact on earnings (if any.) If anyone knows a finance journalist who'd write it LMK

Since I was a kid, I’ve known my grampa had a silly sense of humor. But I’ve spent the last few months digitizing his slides, photos, and film, and sometimes his little handwritten notes make me so happy.

I spent October traveling to schools throughout the South talking to students about American history. What I found were young people who understand we can tell a story that includes both the positive and the negative. As one 8th grader in Memphis said, “Doesn’t seem that hard, just say both things.”
Tell Students the Truth About American History
We owe it to Americans of all ages to be honest about the country’s past, including its contradictions.

If I heard “Last Christmas” yesterday does that mean I’ve already lost Whamageddon for the season? Or does the clock not start until 12/1?

Hear me out: David Tennant as James Bond. But he dresses like the 10th Doctor and every time somebody points out something contradictory about his background or timeline, he just breaks the fourth wall and winks at the camera. Continuity problems solved.

If you see this, post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

(Being extra with this one b/c I had dad’s albums to physically flip through and I sometimes forget how good and diverse album art is!) (the train stays, idc!)

KBJ threaded the needle thanks to CA1’s unfinished business.

-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.

I have a hard and fast rule about not sharing substack links, but if you want to understand the strategy behind what Justice Jackson did in issuing a administrative stay with a 48 hour deadline re SNAP, do a little searching.

Don’t just be like “I can’t believe she did that.”

She had a reason.
