Encouraging the policing of public spaces based on appearance and gender stereotypes is no way for a human rights regulator to behave.

The EHRC’s proposed Code of Practice is a misogynist’s charter, and the government must reject it.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, if you want to know whether someone is a decent human being, look at their position on trans people’s access to equality and health care. It’s that simple. These people all fail that test.
They all need to go - Starmer, Mahmood, Phillipson, Reeves, Streeting.

If you want to know whether someone respects human rights, ask them where they stand on trans rights.
Scratch a transphobe, find a xenophobe.

In the midst of the continual meddling of Trump into foreign countries’ governments, I recall the outcry in 2016 when Obama politely said that he preferred that the UK remain in the EU.
I believe that Starmer would have the support of most UK people if he told Trump firmly to back off the BBC.

This is an astonishing analysis of the perfidity of the authors of the puberty blocker ban.

skywriter.blue/pages/did:pl...

It’s also worth remembering that puberty blockers are themselves a compromise solution to ensure that trans kids get time to think and be sure. They’re safe and reversible.

The new right wants to burn the BBC because it’s the one news outlet they can’t buy. Although I detest the “it’s not perfect but” milquetoast defence, the BBC with all its imperfections is worth defending as a bulwark against the far-right takeover of the media. Please will the government step up.
Revealing division in my timeline between (1) my insider friends who have lived privileged lives who are very keen that we defend the BBC and think it's important it survives and (2) my outsider friends who feel (at best) ambivalent about the BBC's survival.

And yet the BBC is apparently too pro-trans. OK.

So now we have a confession that that the so-called ‘investigation’ into the Tavistock was nothing more than a way to get it shut down.
Trans kids have died since then, because they can no longer get the healthcare they need.

Once Coe was IOC President this was inevitable, sadly.
The Olympics had allowed trans women to compete since the 2004 games.

Out of 10s of thousands of competitors, only one trans woman ever qualified. She came last.

Zero medals. Zero.

Zero.

Yet the far right has convinced elites they were dominating.

As the judicial system continues to create incredibly specific carve-outs for trans people where laws and civil rights and common decency no longer apply, I want you to think very quickly and concisely about what the regime's endgame is here. Yeah, it's that. That thought you don't want to say.
