Not much has changed. I haven't really been keeping up with new music. I heard maybe 10 new albums this year. Some of them were good. Some of them weren't.
I used to put together my own list of albums of the year. It forced me to keep up new music. I never wanted to be the guy in the Bob Seger song. It was working. But something happened during covid and everything fell apart. I haven't been keeping up with new music.

Regarding Reiner, I have known a lot of musicians and been in bands myself. I can’t overstate the importance of This Is Spinal Tap in adjusting the self-importance of musicians. Everyone knows the movie, everyone has identified Spinal Tap moments, everyone is humbler and funnier as a result.

The current system is fine. Drivers need to follow the rules that are already in place. Adding more rules won't help.
Some ideas for improving road safety that can be implemented in US cities without modifying infrastructure:
• No cars moving through the intersection when pedestrians have a "walk" signal.
• No turn on red.
• 20 mph speed limit.
• Leading pedestrian interval for cyclists.
