Just to be clear, I haven't seen any indication that he lied anywhere about his age (or where the 1991 birth date came from in the first place). But the new Observer says he's 41, that matches up with available public records, and there was nobody named William Hobson born in CA in 1991 period.
Will Hobbs being in full "now or never" mode makes a lot more sense when you realize that, as the latest Observer quietly indicated, he's actually 41 years old and not 35.
