I worry that these data will be used to support dangerous stereotypes about faculty in the social sciences, arts, and humanities. Basically, it might seem like faculty in those fields are slacking off after tenure, but there's a much more straightforward explanation. 1/🧵

To expand on this, and in response to confusion around why we can’t highlight both struggles at once, the attack against women and girls is a result of patriarchy that empowers men/boys at the expense of women/girls. Narratives that men/boys have it worse is part of patriarchy
