This week in Art I Am Obsessed With: this self-portrait by Suzanne Valadon. It looks so incredibly contemporary (I would literally wear that exact outfit on hot summer day) but it’s from 1923. Anyway, love a queen with flowy pants and a dangling cigarette!

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Zoran’s win is a sign. It’s a manifestation of the will of the people, saying ‘no more bullshit.’ We’re sick of the establishment ‘left’ that every other first world democracy would consider center-right.
Do you want cool shit like Canada/Australia have? Elect more people like AOC & Zoran.

This is one of the studies (1885) John Singer Sargent made for 'Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose.' The lanterns which we can see here were painted with very thin layers of paint; this allowed the light to seem like it was emanating from within rather than just sitting on the surface.
