This memoir is perfectly titled. A “burn it all down” book by a fantastic & engaging writer. @scaachi.bsky.social may actually be the voice of a generation, and I’m so glad I read this. Cultural identity, divorce, against parents, and the internet are all wrapped up into a perfect burrito. Out 3/4!

This was so cute and swoony! I love a high concept romance novel and this was perfect. Eileen finds herself stepping into the fictional town of her favorite romance books, a series that abruptly ended when the author died while writing the last one. My first @ashleyposton.bsky.social, but not last!

GOOD GIRL, the debut novel by poet Aria Aber, is getting big buzz for good reason. The novel is about a 19 year old Afghan girl from Germany, dealing with the loss of her mother by making terrible decisions at raves and underground nightclubs in the years immediately following 9/11. Comes out 1/14!

Kevin Wilson has done it AGAIN (I mean, are we surprised?) He is truly one of my favorite authors and I always know I’ll be entertained, warmed, and charmed by his books. I went into this one blind (which I love doing with favorite authors) and was delighted by the story of found family. Out 5/13!

I can see @emilystjams.bsky.social debut novel being a hit in 2025, especially in book club circles. Much to talk about, and is truly eye-opening without being eye-rolling. I’m glad the book will exist in the world because it’s an important story that is well-written, which is often hard to come by!

ROLAND ROGERS ISN’T DEAD YET is super fun, has tons of great cultural references, and the ending made me WEEP! It’s so touching and heartfelt. Gah, I loved this book and I love @samanthaallen.bsky.social . If you adore books about movie stars, this is a most read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The latest from Charmaine Wilkerson, author of the fantastic BLACK CAKE, has a new novel coming out on January 28! It’s a solid 4 star read for me: a multi-generational novel about trauma, the African American experience and family heirlooms standing in for grief. GOOD DIRT is epic.

The latest from Charmaine Wilkerson, author of the fantastic BLACK CAKE, has a new novel coming out on January 28! It’s a solid 4 star read for me: a multi-generational novel about trauma, the African American experience and family heirlooms standing in for grief. GOOD DIRT is epic.

Just finished: BACK AFTER THIS by @lindaholmes.bsky.social! This is a super cute rom com about a podcast producer and engineer who suddenly finds herself in front of the mic - by having to go 20 blind dates 🫣 I loved it, it comes out February 2025! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
