The expectation, from the complicit mainstream media, that every single person on social media hold themselves to a HIGHER standard of respect than the freaking PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES will never cease to amaze me.
Trump: "For years those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism we're seeing in our country & it must stop right now. My admin will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity"

I am still astonished that ANY person on planet earth would choose to vote for that asshole.

The most infantile, petulant, ridiculous, farcical, ignoramus to ever exist.

The sheer stupidly of it all is what galls me the most.

The stupidity.

They also laugh about having to shoot some immigrants eventually, and the $30,000 bonus money they get for being ICE agents making it ok to smell people’s urine when they piss their pants after being tased.

Trump appointees ran the government in 2020.

The Big Lie has expanded into a complete alternate reality.
Trump: "Barack Hussein Obama is the ringleader. Hillary Clinton was right there with him & so was Sleepy Joe Biden, Comey, Clapper. They tried to rig an election & they got caught. And then they did rig the election in 2020. And then because I knew I won that election by a lot, I did it a 3rd time"

As a casual observer who hasn’t covered the Epstein case, I didn’t think there was anything of note in these files… until people started going to these lengths to keep them secret.
Breaking News: Speaker Mike Johnson said he would shut down the House until September to block a vote on calling for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

The rich and powerful men most likely to be IN the Epstein files are the same people who control ACCESS to the Epstein files.
And, Buddy, nothing epitomizes America more than that.

So instead of releasing the Epstein Files which contain all the evidence in the case, Trump is going to try and release grand jury transcripts that contain far less than 1% of the evidence, & secure a statement from Maxwell who has every incentive to lie for a sentence reduction.

Poll taxes, but for the chance to prevent Trump regime from deporting you. (This has always been expensive for people, but these are clearly increases to prevent people from being able to exercise their rights, like poll taxes.)
NEW: EOIR implements new minimum fees in the OBBBA on immigration court request for relief. As we worried, they're stacked on TOP of current fees:

- Appeals and motions to reopen will cost $1,010
- Applying for a green card will cost $2,940
- Applying for cancellation of removal will cost $1,600

I once had an OC for prisons who described himself as a civil rights lawyer so
Cosette Shachnow should be recognized & ashamed.

i've been screaming about getting § 1983 equivalent at the state level for state constitutional violations for a long time, but this is interesting. maybe it doesn't need to be a one-way ratchet.
There will now be 10,000 new ICE agents & 100,000 new detention beds--and few safeguards protecting people from constitutional violations by the feds.

Time for states to pass laws allowing people to sue fed agents. Read about it these "converse-1983" statutes here: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....

As if that weren’t horrific enough—some so-called “Christians” are cheering it on like it’s some kind of twisted, dehumanization porn.

I want to reiterate that countless conservative judges issued universal injunctions against the Biden administration, and the Supreme Court never halted the practice. Now, barely five months into Trump's second term, the court puts an end to these injunctions. A brazen double standard.

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.
