Anthony was conscious breathing for 16-19 minutes after the gas began, the longest anyone has consciously survived this torture. The state lies. RIP Anthony, we love you and are proud of how you fought for your brothers.

Talking to fiction writing students, I mentioned how each novel (or story?) might require you to be a different writer, kind of like how the Springsteen on Nebraska was very different from the Springsteen on Born in the USA. Of course, they'd never heard of Nebraska.
