On Thursday (10/23), as I was walking back to the office with my lunch I stopped to heckle a crowd of National Guard and federal agents. I was then tackled to the ground, slammed against a squad car, arrested and held in a cell for several hours.

Health care costs will skyrocket, people will lose coverage, and the transfer of wealth from the poor to the ultrarich will continue.
DC has faced the brunt of the shutdown, but federal workers are still resolute in calling on Dems to hold the line. Where is our fight?

Wasn’t initially sold on primarying Jeffries this go round, just because I feel like it poses a litany of risks, but after last night it feels like it’s our duty to take him to task. Jeffries and Schumer are one and the same. Time for heads to roll.

I honestly don’t get the value of this company. They hoover up energy and water. Their product constantly gets things wrong and, in extreme cases, coaches people into suicide.
And it’s all built on what seems to be malicious and vast intellectual property theft.

But a highlight was lunch with my Congresswoman @aoc.bsky.social at Laliguras Bistro in Jackson Heights.

This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

This is either bald faced lie or Chief Smith has no clue what her officers are up to on a daily basis. Either way she needs to resign.
Pretty big: In direct questioning just now from @robertwhitedc.bsky.social on whether MPD coordinates with ICE, Chief Pamela Smith says no.
"There's no coordination and cooperation between MPD and ICE," she said.
That's the most direct statement any senior D.C. official has made.

When you’re being detained like this, it’s the people who walk by that hurt almost as much as the physical pain being inflicted on you. It’s almost like you have stopped being human in their eyes.
I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.
