Stephen Miller isn't being a hypocrite praising Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra while criticizing immigration; he is being a consistent racist.

thanks to AI you can now become the malignant illusion spinning demiurge whom Descartes had to axiomatically banish in order to make Rationality possible
The comments on this are all about how sweet it is and I feel insane. Using AI to make fake memories of your grandma with dementia and telling her they happened and then filming her reaction

There is, for all intents and purposes, no academic freedom anymore for anyone teaching at a red state public university.
Texas A&M University will not reinstate a lecturer who was fired after a video of her teaching about gender identity in a children’s literature class went viral, despite a faculty appeals panel unanimously concluding that her dismissal was not justified.

A vice chancellor upheld the firing of Melissa McCoul, seen in a viral video being confronted by a student on her gender identity teachings, saying the termination was done with “good cause.”

Because most of the media agree that the left are scum
Kind of wild how the take that some of Trump's supporters were "deplorable" was some huge scandal, but regularly screaming about "radical left scum" is just a thing he'll say with no media backlash.

It is well known that It's a Wonderful Life rose to cultural prominence because it entered the public domain in 1974 and was able to be freely broadcast on television, but I also think that it is because it is a film that works when best stumbled upon when flipping channels about halfway through.

BlueBooks, physical copies, and notebook assignments this semester not only stopped AI use but also increased class participation and discussion tenfold.
Does anyone else bristle at this framing? WSJ says blue books are “torturing” students with hand cramps, and “nobody likes them.”

Listen, students have been outsourcing everything to AI and cheating their way through college. Blue books should be celebrated as a return to authentic human learning.

The Avengers: Doomsday trailer is evidence of the acceleration of the rate of nostalgia. When the MCU began it drew on the nostalgia for the silver age of comic decades prior, now they hark back to a movie that came out six years ago.
