Something you may underestimate in IT operations is how fast you can actually do things with a few top engineers and no rules. You can in fact quickly integrate data stores into hacked-together applications and start mining for stuff, not use the ERP interface. This is what DOGE is architected for.

Light a candle for me, had to do a slightly ugly hacky fix so I wouldn't have to do a 25x hours ugly fix of the dozens of problems that would've happened by doing it "the right way"
In my defense, nothing in this project is done "the right way" in the first place
