I hope that all of you have a joyous holiday season surrounded by your family and loved ones*.

*Except for ICE. I hope no one talks to you or gives you a present and that you accidentally shit your pants while everyone tells you to go fuck yourself at the grocery store.

Why is it that the people who say, "But they're in the country illeeeeeegally." don't seem to care when you reply. "But they're being removed illeeeeeegally."

That makes Stephen Miller an "illegal", Kristi Noem an "illegal", Tom Homan an "illegal." I prefer the noun "criminal" but it fits.

And this is why so many survivors of SA don't come forward. First, that they won't be believed. And in the case of the powerful, law enforcement often protects the predators. Epstein had the system in his pocket. So does Trump.

The bravery of these survivors is amazing.

jesus the Palm Beach Police really sought arrest warrants against underage Epstein victims for coming forward and cooperating, and (purported) admitting to crimes, and it caused the victims to become uncooperative with the federal investigation

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

In Illinois, ICE agents have been documented swapping license plates to hide their identity. Under Illinois law, this constitutes a Class A misdemeanor.

The state has made clear that this law will be enforced. Federal agents are not exempt from Illinois vehicle and registration statutes.

Aside from being a ridiculous rationale, once again the executive is asserting the power to nullify any law they don't like. If you want to do this, have congress amend or repeal the relevant act. Every fucking day these assholes just hereby declare new illegal shit

No. It’s a great time to be a violent criminal in America. Our most sophisticated law enforcement agencies are busy hunting landscapers & housekeepers.
Is there any precedent in modern history for a mass shooting occurring in a public setting with 10+ casualties and the perpetrator not being apprehended? It's really hard to fathom.
