Just in my lifetime we've slid from:
"just the facts ma'am."
to "fuck your feelings."
to "facts are tricky, let's just do stuff based on what we feel SHOULD be true."
to "I invented a robot that says 'very insightful' every time you delude yourself! To deny its rise is punishable by gov't torture."

I *am* a one issue voter, actually.

My one issue is "do you see all human beings as equitably entitled to basic human rights and dignity, or do you see some people as acceptable losses or sacrifices?"

True. Thanks to Bills 3 and 39, the mayors are part of the provincial government now. We only keep the illusion of municipal democracy for the normies.

Trump’s obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help.

Since he has no economic policies to tout, he’s resorting to regurgitating bigoted lies instead.

He continues to be a national embarrassment.
Trump: "Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is. With her little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch ... we ought to get her the hell out ... she's here illegally."

The crowd in Pennsylvania then starts chanting "send her back!"

Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.

If true, this is a war crime. And anyone, from Pete Hegseth to senior military staff, who authorized a war crime should be held accountable.

If a naval vessel is sunk, survivors are "protected persons" per the Geneva convention, like a pilot who ejects after being shot down.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

This would be an unambiguous war crime even in a proper war against a real enemy’s navy.

The night Epstein "committed suicide".

-He was on suicide watch.
-The guards "fell asleep" and failed to complete more than 75 mandatory checks on him.
-The cameras monitoring him "stopped working"
-Prosecuting the guards was "deferred"

This is sickening to read.

By the way, the corollary of "illegal =/= impossible" is that just because something SHOULD BE a right doesn't mean that it already is.

Every day someone tells me they have a constitutional right to food or housing. Everyone SHOULD have those rights. Unfortunately, in this country, we don't.
