Today for Trans Day of Visibility, I would like to show my RPG work.

The Sundered Marches is a steampunk setting that details the rise of revolution against an empire in decline, and encourages players to explore their characters' bodily identity.

Also: cowgirl witches and boys with jetpacks.

Housemate is out. Told us cats are fed at 7 and she'll email with instructions on how to feed them (they are very complicated) but she hasn't emailed yet.

Walked into the kitchen at 6 am to get water. Turn on the lights. Six cats purring hungrily at me and staring at me in unison as I get water.

Yesterday asked my roommates how cold it could get in Philly and they were like "sub 30F sometimes" and after multiple winters where I spent weeks in the part of the scale where F and C aren't that different...

Positively balmy

Anyway I don't really blame you if you're numb to this stuff by now but we actually do need high profile people making hay out of this because... yeah.

One of the successes of the Democratic coalition is also its weakness: there are a lot of people who are like "I think these people are absolutely nuts about this equality stuff but they actually listen on things I am a SME so they are probably better to go with."
Honestly, one of the things that's most shocked me about the last 10 years is the revelation of how many highly-educated elite white men who self-identify as moderates, liberals, and/or Democrats, still seem to be 100% on board with race science and masculine superiority.
How dare you imply that our friendship was based on leering at teenage girls, it was based on sorting races into C, B, A and S tiers

Casino Royale is arguably the best Bond movie and certainly my favorite. It reboots Bond in modern times and has Judi Dench's M as his starter M, after she was the new M kicking Brosnan Bond around.

Skyfall is beautiful nonsense and it gives Bond a bunch of shit from the 60s.

And I do think that’s unique to him. There would be a cost to say that about Nancy Pelosi, or Bernie, or Hakeem Jeffries, or Biden. We might feel like saying that to one or two but someone would get upset. I don’t think anyone would care about Schumer.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

Graeber's "dead zones of the imagination" calcified into everyday life, without anyone responsible held to account.

Civic tech's next era is coming to the realization that you can't prettify the horrors of bad policy design under the guise of helping people. This isn't a UX problem.

Talarico's spokesperson: "While James was unaware of how these women make money, he does not judge them for it and will not play into an effort to smear them for clickbait articles. That's exactly what his Christian faith calls him

Since Cornell is also a land grand institution and partly statutory you might want to give Hochul a call as well.
