Escalation during a war is normal and not inherently bad. You escalate to win. It would be absolutely appropriate for Ukraine's friends to deliver missiles so Ukraine can escalate and push Russia on the defensive.

Exactly this. For anyone comfortable with using the military to round up immigrants over petty civil matters, remember that authoritarianism doesn't walk itself back. You'll be next for something even more trivial and it will likely require a violent battle to end the practice. Nip it in the bud.
While Pete Hegseth's lack of experience or self-discipline mean he is unqualified, his calls to weaponize the military against American civilians for partisan political vendettas mean he is disqualified. Please remind your senators and the corporate media, who are looking away hard at the fascism.
