Zara has settled her brain for a long winter's nap. Check out the ear tufts, furnished ears & extra fur between her toes: typical of Maine Coon Cats. Nearly all calico cats are girls: genes for orange & black fur are on the X chromosome, requiring two X's (female) to express both colors with white.
