Miller ignores that the USA "imports societies" of people who fled their country due to crime, war & corruption with the belief that it was better in the USA with a desire to be a part of that experiment. Don't let Miller and Trump prove the newcomers & refugees wrong. You have that power. #WeAreOne
The tweet authored by Stephen Miller about "you're not just importing individuals, you're importing societies"

should be a textbook example of how the fallacies of division and of composition (both of which he commits in the same speech act) are signature of bigoted animus.

Stephen Miller said the building was “filled with TdA terrorists.”

DOJ prosecutors have not filed criminal charges or shown evidence that anyone arrested in the raid belonged to the Tren de Aragua gang.

Off topic, if you're a dog person, the movie "Good Boy" will hit you hard, and not for why you'd expect with the Hollywood cliches. Genuinely surprised by this one. If you've seen another movie, there's a tell on the climax which will hint it. But, it's a beautifully done story Twilight Zone style.

Ordering no quarter, as Hegseth effectively did, isn't a newfangled modern war crime. It was understood as a crime as far back as the Revolutionary War. Washington threatened to do reprisals over it. The bad guy in 'The Patriot' is (very loosely) based off a British officer who was notorious for it.

We know a lot of people who join the US National Guard for noble reasons. It is an absolute tragedy that this farce of a "crime wave" used to justify Trump's authoritarian agenda, which has absolutely intentionally exacerbated tensions, resulted in this.

Does Pete Hegseth have a "golden shield" against prosecution in the form of a DOJ OLC opinion? Ed Whelan thinks not.

Seriously, the DOJ should look into if he laundered money through Trump's crypto scam. From Trump's first term, we already know the pardons don't come free or for "justice."
He’s going to fight drug trafficking by pardoning them?

Trump announced “a Full and Complete Pardon” for former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández, who was found guilty by an American jury last year of conspiring to import cocaine into the US.
November 29, 2025 at 12:37 AM
He'll pardon Hernandez because he's Jr.'s cocaine source and he's dumped a ton of money into the Trump cryptoconjob. Prove us wrong.
When Trump is promising to pardon the potential loser, you really need to wonder what exactly the f*ck was going on with Hernandez and how it intersected with Trump. It's not like a US presidential pardon means shit in Honduras. But, it does if Hernandez is given a Trump sponsored flight to the USA.

Cancer drug Revlimid is one of the bestselling pharmaceutical products of all time, with total sales of over $100 billion.

It’s also extraordinarily expensive, costing nearly $1,000 for each pill, even though that pill costs just 25 cents to make.

Making an appropriately big deal out of this blunts that attack and demonstrates the need for what Kelly and company did.
