I’ve said this for years, but the real scandal of Russiagate wasn’t that Putin had something on Trump, but that Trump wanted to make the US like Putin’s Russia.

Democratic Party candidates and officials do not need to adopt all of Mamdani’s policy proposals to be successful. This is a huge country with diverse needs. Nevertheless, they should all take a page on how to stand one’s ground and “manage” this President. That’s power.

We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

For the second time tonight, President Trump has dismissed the security concerns Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has expressed.

Also, I’ve been told by Trump supporters that this sort of rhetoric puts the lives of political leaders in danger.

For over 5 years, Marjorie Taylor Greene was one of the people in Congress most disliked by Democrats.

No death threats.

It was only when she turned on Donald Trump that she got death threats.

Just like Senators only received threats of violence after they wavered on Trump's cabinet nominations.

Trump is threatening to withhold back pay for federal workers furloughed during the shutdown — which goes against a law he signed in 2019, by the way.

This should come as no surprise: Trump and his businesses have been accused of stiffing hundreds of their own workers out of pay over the years.

This has always been true, but Thiessen truly is one of the dumbest and most dishonest people in commentary, and it’s shocking that he’s been paid so well for so long to give these opinions.
Fox News' Marc Thiessen, without a hint of irony: "Imagine if – we didn’t see this on the right, but imagine if after the George Floyd killing, people had gone on in saying he was a POS and that I’m glad he's dead... do you think anybody would have employed them ever again?!"

Trump does his best to avoid events that aren't all about him because he finds them very dull.

Amazing that anyone would expect him to sit through all those eulogies when none of them are talking about Trump.

That said, maybe he wasn't feeling up to it? The man does not look well.
He loved him like a son — and I’m sure he would have skipped his own sons’ memorials as well. Those golf balls aren’t going to hit themselves.🙄

News orgs "need to wake up Americans who are sleepwalking into a police state. It’s an easy headline: 'Trump is building a dictatorship.' Say it at the top of the TV news. Print it in type that everyone will notice. And then make the case. The evidence is all around us."

It’s well past time for the news industry to warn the public about a huge threat to their safety.
That threat is Trump amassing dictatorial power.
Don't just give us pieces of the puzzle. Give us the big picture.
