It’s truly hard to reconcile a lifetime of believing that the purpose of government in the United States is to help citizens with the hatred ICE and other federal agencies have displayed for Americans in Chicago, LA, DC and other US cities

I’m all for helping our farmers & ranchers…but let’s not forget they need this bailout bc of Trump’s tariff policies. And if “socialism” means “govt aid to people in need” (as many MAGA folk say), maybe some need to chill out with the SoCiALiSm fear mongering while also supporting these subsidies.
