Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Youtube time watched metrics is stealing our time. A lot of the big epic videos could be cut down by an hour and should be released in episodic parts. Same with podcasts. Everything is stuffed with filler these days.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Some of you act like Disney hasn't made some of the greatest animated film ever. That they didn't invent animation as film. That most you you didn't grow up loving their films. I know its been rough for a long time, but they are capable of doing it again especially under my dictatorial regime!

I would force Disney to make a 2D hand drawn Journey To The West film with a Chinese American director.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.
