But also, I get it. It’s rough out there. Sometimes friends you haven’t talked to in years will hit you up for help. That’s ok. When you’re the the guy who only contacts people about jobs, people can tell though. Also animation people are awesome and worth being actual friends with.

4. If you do have to gush, don't just say 'i love your work' , pick one thing and say why. Open ended compliments are awkward
