kinda blows my mind when productions hire very talented artists… and then don’t want their input, just want them to be a cog, sometimes intentionally + actively preventing them from doing their full job. Before you ask me what production I’m dragging, don’t bother! It sadly happens way too often.

What if we just didn’t make another James Bond. There’s been a lot. We have other things with fun explosions. I’m sure I’m not the first person turned off by the misogny or lack of consent all over it. Like we just literally don’t need to reboot this. Make something better.

I’ll further this and say that working in animation, a great voice track by a creative voice actor absolutely levels up a show and inspires everyone to go farther. Every artist in the mix, when they are excellent and creative push everyone they touch to new heights and we all improve each other.
If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

I really hope blender’s new storyboard version actually fixes the issue with scenes and timing. AFAIK, if you want to make scene 1 longer, you have to move all the object keyframes for the following scenes down the timeline and then separately resynch the cameras. 🧵

I went to a chef’s choice restaurant in my hometown a while ago and I loved the character of all the chefs. Just doing what they felt inspired to make at any time. I feel like a lot of more down to earth pro chefs would be my buddies. I feel like they feel like art people.
