While on a hunt for Pokémon cards with his kids, @johnemuir.bsky.social found some NHL trading cards from 1972 that captured the soon-to-be-hapless Islanders in all their haplessness. It's like a trick-or-treat bag of random goodies.

I’m imagining the vetting process that Hasan went through to find these people to debate like the scene from Blazing Saddles where all the criminals, bikers, n*zis, and klansmen were lined up to get deputized.
So I... erm... agreed to do the Jubilee 'Surrounded' debate. Me versus 20 far-right conservatives.
And it was like nothing I've done before. Sheesh. I had no idea they'd be so extreme and racist.
