"Craven cave-in" is a pretty, pretty good phrase.

"Trump must be doing his old-man jig in the Oval Office. The pain this craven cave-in will cause is already evident."

Forget young couples: National Association of Realtors new report shows the average first-time homebuyer is 40 years old; average buyer is 59. High prices and mortgage rates aren't just delaying the American Dream; they’re scheduling it for retirement as young adults remain permanently priced out.
Many would-be buyers are frozen out of the housing market
High prices and high mortgage rates are making it hard for many people to get a toehold in the housing market. A new report from the National Association of Realtors says the share of homes sold to first-time buyers dropped to a record low in the last year. Scott Olson/Getty Images North America

Listening to these 8 Dem Senators explain their vote convinces me that they are either idiots or liars. Either is plausible.

Of course these pardons are really about signaling to members of the current administration that are criming, “keep going, i got you”

Yes. How do Dem electeds not understand this dynamic? After all these years?
At some point we have to let pain hurt Trump instead of helping him. Every time we let pain help him, he’ll do more and bigger next time.

Each acquiescence means the next one will be *more* painful.

Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Trump the loser, the buffoon.

"The GOP lost decisively Tuesday in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California and Georgia, including in some reliably red areas — a shellacking that signals problems for the party as Democrats turn out in droves against Trump and his policies." (Politico)
