On the topic of the Leafs making giveaways... By far the worst culprits are Nic Roy, Max Domi and Morgan Rielly at 5v5.
Rielly has the 9th highest giveaway per 60 rate in the NHL (6.98), Roy has the 15th highest (6.38). Domi sits in a tie for 38th (5.56).

Donald's theory of mind is... *Entirely absent*
His understanding is everyone's understanding. The overlap between this and his narcissism makes it fairly likely they have the same root cause.
Whatever it is, he is shockingly ignorant for someone who has climbed as far as he has.

Here are the *details* and while this limits single pitch wagers... If you gamble on *multiple* pitches or pitch totals... this isn't really a huge change... But it IS harder to manipulate.
Following this weekend’s indictments of Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz, MLB has announced that, in collaboration with major sports books, single pitch wagers are being capped at $200 and excluded from all parlays:

I'm not entirely clear on how MLB is going to enforce this?

50 years ago today, Nov. 10, 1975, the Edmund Fitzgerald sank beneath the waves of Lake Superior during a massive storm.
The sinking took the lives of all 29 men on the ship, and became immortalized in Gordon Lightfoot's song.

So, just to clarify a few things, the global population didn't really exceed 50% living under liberal democracy until the early 2000's, after the Cold War ended and the Soviet states dissolved.
But we have backslid severely since the 2010's and are most certainly under 50%; prob closer to 40%.

Winning primaries doesn't fix the system that is inherently distorted by corporate lobbying and private wealth being funnelled to those in office.
Whoever wins the primary is immediately immersed in that system and is subject to the power dynamics of lobbying firms doing their jobs (effectively).

i think an especially depressing part of this whole saga is that "we need to win primaries so establishment dems are replaced by true progressives" is a thing we've done before but one of the progressives we worked hard to install over the establishment pick was fetterman

I think a major part of the problem is, all of this still neatly fits within *Trump's reality*.
He seems to think elections are a sham, Potemkin style of political theater for the poors to keep them in line. Heads of state are all powerful (and always have been).

So MTL rank 12th in the EAST with 4 regulation wins, and 12th with 45 goals against.
They have gone past regulation in 4 consecutive games and 7 of their last 10 gp.
Their only 2 losses beyond regulation took place in their last 2 gp.
