Doctors are asking for £22/hr - the same as they earned 2008 in real terms.

We know fair pay for doctors is in patients’ interests - share if you agree.

And the Universal Credit bill has passed. Some of the sickest people in the country will suffer needlessly more now. There is no justification, no excuse. Just ugly, cruel choices by ministers too cowardly to tax the wealthy rather than cut the poor. A shameful day for Starmer’s Labour.

The government says that disabled people will “co-produce” the PIP review, but deciding to make cuts and then asking disabled people which cuts they would prefer is at best a rubber stamping exercise.

No disabled people’s organisations support this Bill. We must vote against it.

This is insane by Yvette Cooper.

Spray-painting planes is not terrorism. Criminal damage, yes - but you cannot “terrorise” inanimate objects. It does not serve to cause terror in victims. Therefore it is not terrorism.

The authoritarian Home Secretary has lost the plot.

Trump’s attacks on Iran are another hugely dangerous escalation.

Unjustified, illegal, provocative; they make the world less safe, not more.

The UK must condemn these attacks and make clear it will provide no support.

Trying to understand how we got to the point where we have to argue the idea that you need a medical degree to practice medicine

Not only that, trying to convince others that qualifications & regulation matter in a safety critical industry for patients

Every minister should read this. 👇 If the government actually cared about disabled people being in work, they would reform the chaos of Access to Work.
I’m profoundly sad to say that as of today, I’ll no longer be able to do my job as co-artistic director of #Touretteshero because of a recent decision by #AccessToWork to cut my support by 61%. Read & share this post, the hardest I've had to write: www.touretteshero.com/2025/05/23/a... 1/4
