Nursing staff dedicate their lives to caring for others, and too often they are faced with the most appalling hatred and intimidation.

The government must stop pandering to dangerous anti-migrant sentiments and employers must prioritise tackling racism. Staff have the right to be safe at work.

This report from RCEM, one of our coalition partners to end corridor care, should send shockwaves through govt.

It shows that standards have fallen so far that many no longer expect to be treated in clinically appropriate spaces.

We need data & transparency on how widespread corridor care is now.
The first report of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Emergency Care has revealed the scale of corridor care in England, and the harrowing impact it has on patients.

The report, built on research compiled by RCEM through data, surveys and patient testimony, is here: rcem.ac.uk/press-rel...

When Chief Nursing Officer Evonne Hunt raised concerns about racism at her trust, they suspended her rather than taking action.

After a two-year process, we have worked with Evonne to successfully secure her reinstatement.

We will always support members challenging discrimination.
