Absolutely. Ideally with jail time for the criminals involved.
i’ve said this before and i remain convinced it’s true, the 2028 platform that would deliver obama 08 results is “i am gonna
bring the hammer down on the corrupt self-dealing politicians and their rich friends and there are no sacred cows id give a pass”

You know, it’s really disheartening to realize that there actually is a conspiracy to keep women out of power and protect men who abuse them. Like, I knew this, but seeing it in black and white is somehow making it worse.
Jeffrey Epstein advised Steve Bannon that the lawyers representing Brett Kavanaugh in his confirmation hearing should accuse Christine Blasey Ford of being on medications that cause false memories or memory loss.

This tracks with what is see in my moderate corner — people who, 15 years ago, would say things like, well, I might be ok with Romney, are now out for blood. They want people to do jail time.
Really seeing once again, it seems, that the real divide in the Democratic coalition is not left/lib/moderate or anything like that.

It's the fight/no-fight divide. And the 'fight' dems are the ones winning elections.

I’m pretty sure Dr Seuss didn’t mean it as a fictional children’s book.
It was always a big mistake to read Yertle the Turtle as a fictional children’s book.

As the Border Patrol heads to the Bay Area, Nancy Pelosi today said local law enforcement may arrest federal troops who break California law.

The idea comes from San Francisco DA Brooke Jenkins who says she will prosecute them.

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.

You spend all this time, reading Clausewitz and Mahan and Thucydides, studying campaigns and thinking hard about the roots of victory and defeat, the experience of war and what that means for policy and then you look over and the policy movers are strategy cheese and infantrydork.

Portland is a peaceful, vibrant city with no need for federal agents on our streets. I urge Oregonians not to fall into Trump’s attempt to incite violence. Just as I did in 2020, I will lead our delegation and state officials to oppose any unjustified increase in federal forces.

I do think that Americans should have the freedom to put loud-ass glass packs and straight pipes etc on their vehicles, but I also think that every citizen should have a government-issued rocket launcher and get a $100k bounty for a successful hit on such a vehicle. this is sensible centrism
